We had the privilege of Dr Sharon Raivitch talk on opening day of TFA Summer Bridge 2009. How did her talk focus your thoughts about teaching and learning?
I thought the John Dewey article was thought provoking in the way he framed education not only as a place where we teach children how to read and write, but also where we teach children to become contributing members of society.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed her discussion on racial microaggression. I believe that it is critical to the work we do and also how we move about in the world.
